During the following century, the house changed its owners several times. Among them we can find servants of the Czech kings, members of different religious orders and many important Prague burghers. In 1723-1732, the house underwent a thorough and costly reconstructin that shaped its present aspect.
After a complete reconstruction, in May 2000, the Golden Star, as a hotel, reopened its ancient gate. While carefully preserving the original architectural elemens, it offers full luxury of modern life comfort. The original 270 year old staircase, ornamental plaster ceilings and period wooden furniture accentuate the historical atmosphere of the house. | | City Transfer Direction:
